Sunoco Elite Series - Season 5 - Round 10 at Las Vegas

Dack Jovic was visibly frustrated after both races of Las Vegas. His pit crew failed him in round 1, which cost him any chance he had at a good run, and the points lead. In race 2, the benefit of finishing poorly didn't pan out. Jovic was up front all day and led laps, but his own team-mate Steven Thompson held him up massively with little laps left. Jovic went from top five to barely top fifteen because of his team-mate.

Afterwards, the mad Dack Jovic went to find his team-mate, but by the time he got there, he sat down next to Steven Thompson, which eventually ended with Dack Jovic hugging Thompson. Despite Thompson being the only reason Dack Jovic didn't finish better in the second race, an unusual stride from Jovic sees him forgive Thompson.

Dack Jovic: "Ah, at first was quite bad repute with my team-mate after the race, but I came upon myself to not react irrationally towards him....so instead of hauling off and punching him, ah held back and chatted with him. It has been odd of me to hug someone, but it felt needed."

Jack Hallec: "Sigh. T'at be not at'll 'ow I be wantin' t'e double header ta go. Me crew, bless 'em, but t'ey significantly failed me t'is weekend. I be on track fer a top ten, 'er per'aps a win, but like it be before, I needed 'em an' t'ey failed me. But aye, I be still lovin' t'em an appreciatin' w'at t'ey do!"

Jack Hallec: "I be holdin' me 'ead up 'igh. I be doing fer' better t'an I be prior, an' I intend ta' keep t'is up an' make me prediction come true: Win the S5 champin'ship. See ya t'ere!"
