We saw in the "what if" season of the chase format in how it would of played out last year... Nick Mace would of stole the championship from Jesse Turner after Turner blew up with 5 laps to go. We almost used the Chase Format in 2015 but since it was mid season we continued to run the format of no chase and not change it up on the drivers half way through the season.


The Chase will work like the NASCAR Chase System works. 30 Races before the Chase, 10 Race Chase. Win and you're in? Well that might not always be the case. With there being 30 races before the chase that leaves many opportunities of too many guys winning. Only 16 drivers will be in the Chase, there is a possibility that we could have more than 16 different winners after Round 30.

To make the Chase you will no doubt have to win, getting in on points will be extremely difficult to do. If you have a win, you must be inside the Top 25 in points to get into the Chase. A driver outside the Top 25 in points that has a win in the season will not be qualified to be in the Chase for the Sony Cup.

Pichu London always has to many people win, and he does what NASCAR has said they would do if that happens. You just do it by whoever has the most points. So for ours I guess it's be in the top 25, and have more points?

Say we have 20 different winners, the four lowest in points with the lowest win count will not make the chase. You must be inside the Top 25 in points to be eligible and even then if there is more winners than there are spots open for the chase then the guy(s) lowest in points with the least amount of wins will not advance.

Now let's say this happened (Best case senerio). We have 20 people who won. 10 won 1 race. the other 10 won 2 races a piece. All of them are in the top 25. So would the 4 that don't make it be decided by points. I was just seeing if you were doing that.

I like the Chase Smile However, with the fact that there are 40 races, I think that you should only be locked in if you have 2 wins, cause there are going to be quite a few 1-time winners...

Point remains the same... For some reason NR2003 likes 1st time winners. Even if you set the rosters so that there is a gap between the best and the rest, there are still an over abundance of 1st time winners.

Honestly the new chase doesn't crown a true champion. But win and In and I'm good so that works out well.

Everyone is just so right down the middle on having a chase! It came back on the poll that the Chase had a slight advantage so I went with it. The SCS has only had 3 chases ever in the history.

Yes Jordan that is how I will be doing it. Now if you guys really are against it, speak now forever race a year under a chase format.

I am for a chase format, but you have to have 2 wins to be locked in the chase.
