Qualifying Big One Strikes, many fast cars toward the back, Baskinger and McKane start in final few spots

During the closing minutes of the 1st Round of Qualifying. The dreaded big one struck on the front straight when the KIR of Andrew Brighton blew a motor and the pack behind couldn't avoid. Jake Baskinger, Nathan McKane, and D.J. Kurtis were all in the pack and got wrecked. Red Bull was able to fix Kurtis' car. However Baskinger and McKane required back up cars and will have to start at the rear of the field.

Both drivers will need a true championship winning effort if they want to win the championship now. McKane hasn't looked that quick this weekend, but Baskinger has been top 5 in every session, including winning the pole for the race. Baskinger would have been the pole sitter had that wreck not happen. Now the pole will go to 2nd place man Nathan Hudson.

Part Time Championship leader Kenny Myatt was also swept up in the wreck, his car was fixed, but he was pretty slow anyway so they plan on racing the back up car and hope it is faster then the Primary!

Just wasn't ment to be.... Sucks I couldn't bring home a championship to Porsche in my final season on this deathtrap of a track. Congrats to Wilhoit on the PT championship and McKane on the drivers. What are you going to do.... Here we go to Cathenix and leave this lost behind us.

Tauger: Well, that capped off my dismal Part-Time championship campaign.

Shultz: "Well, it sucks being like the worst driver of the season. It really does, and I won't even be coming back next season and possibly proving that I can be a good driver. Oh well, congrats to the champion and I hope to return to this series sometime"

OCC: Well, it was a good season. Sucks I don't have a driver next season. Realistically I might not have an AES driver for a while but what can you do right? Looking forward to having my team atleast perform next season. I also need to send Kenny the template I was going to have the BFM cars be next season... Y'know if I can use it that is.

Shock Jr.: "It was worth it for one lap."
Thenos: "I tried, but I think the 092's not right to me. Let's hope me and Michael can do something next season."

James: What a disappointment. Our team tried their hearts out but we lost contention because a stupid driver error. I am really hoping that I can help take an underdog to the top next season. This offseason will not be a time for relaxation, I am going to be testing and will have a competative team to win in S20. Thank You Cathenix, it was fun but now Hello Finguy-Pystomi.

Noah: Been awhile since I've been on the edge of my seat like I was... I was very mad and upset with myself when I saw that 9 finish right directly behind me.. But then on the cool down lap I remembered hey, I won. I won a race. Something that has been insanely hard to do over the seasons. I did exactly what I knew I needed to do coming in. I completed my goal. Just because it didn't fall in my lap because I did all of the following it just wasn't my year. Congrats to McKane! I know how it feels to win a championship, damn it feels amazing. Celebrate it up. See you next year, champ.

That was an exciting finale for Season 19; can't wait to make my debut in Season 20.
