Round 12 of South Boston
As we head to a short track things are bound to get wild. Here are the results of go or go home Qualifying.
1. #43 Andreas Allen
2. #3 Chris Dodd
3. #22 Emma White
4. #32 Treck Tauger
5. #06 Mason Gordon
6. #14 Hayden Kline
7. #89 Stephen Pollard III
Did Not Qualify
8. #99 Nick Pericles
9. #34 Kermicah Jazzin
10. #9 Aidan Shepherd
11. #66 Bradley Bishop Jr.
12. #37 Scott McCann (DNS)
13. #00 Grandma Jones (Withdrew)
Note: Pollard Racing #89 Team made their first race since Round 2 of Rockingham. Pollard III said the team was close to broke because of so many DNQ's this team seriously needed to make this race financially if they wanted to keep going.
Emma White made her first race since the 2015 Finale
Mason Gordon finally made a race for the first time in a good few weeks.
Cloud9 Racing's #37 team couldn't get through inspection missed out on a qualifying time.
Crayola Racing was nearly 4 seconds off the pace in practice and forced by SCS Officials to pick up the pace. Since Crayola was unable to pick up the pace Crayola Racing was forced to withdraw.
Allen Family Racing Team withdrew their entry with Scott Roush due to being unprepared and will be back at Talladega.
CM Racing and John Armdt were suppose to be at the track but for unknown reasons has decided to skip this race on their #33 car's schedule. Bristol will be their main focus as a replacement for this race. We expect the team to return at Texas World.

Perkins enters concussion protocol, slams South Boston track
Sean Perkins has been entered into the concussion protocol following an incident at the South Boston Speedway. Perkins after being released from the health center with a concussion immediately ran to the media. Needless to say his comments were some of his most damning.
"If SCS ever goes back to this god damn dump, then the officials are stupider than they look. I 'apparently' have a concussion because the inbred/redneck race promoters are too cheap to install them. The fact that the wall is like that off of turn #2 is another joke. I am injured now because of this stupid track, and I am not happy about it. The fans that come out to South Boston are some of the dumbest people I have ever met in my life. They all buy their tickets with the money they won with their colorful, 7-11 scratch off lottery ticket winnings. They also have a diet of Whisky and Skoal chewing tobacco. This track has no business being on the calendar. I don't plan on EVER racing at this dump ever again."
It is expected that Perkins will be sat for the 13th round of the season next weekend.

Re: Round 12 of South Boston
Crew chief said we were too low on fuel. Tried to get him to change his mind but he said the gamble wasn't worth it. We were put in a lose-lose situation. To make matters worse we got trapped a lap down waiting for the cars to go by. 19th for us.

Andreas: "Hey Sean, here's a lesson for you, SHIT HAPPENS. Yes, you wrecked and got injured. I have been injured as well, hell I have missed YEARS of my career due to injuries. It sucks, but it is a risk we ALL take. I have been screwed this year, just no DAMN luck at all. That win last week was an oasis on a desert of shit. EVERY WEEK I have had to bring home wrecked race cars, and it fucking sucks as a team owner. I don't get mad at the fans here in South Boston VA for a shitty day. These redneck inbred fans pay your salary you ungrateful little shit. I am tired of hearing you bitch and moan when things don't go your way. I f you get so mad about every bad run, WHY ARE YOU HERE?! Things happen, you have to dust yourself off and move on. Hey if you don't wanna race here, then you can sit on your ass and whine all you want while the big boys race........... Unless those big boys are all doing too much of the wacky tobacy to keep their cars straight. Some morons are racing this season, that I agree with."

OOC: Perkins is mad about that wall. To be honest, that is a huge problem with South Boston. Plus the racing isn't great.

OOC: Seriously Kenny, this is not your series. Stop it.

Perkins: Jeffery I am dead serious now... After that incident... I will never go back to South Boston. That wall shouldn't be like that. Unless changes are made to the track.
*Later*
Perkins: I am starting to feel the effects of this concussion, my vision is really blurry.

Re: Round 12 of South Boston
Really disappointed that I wasn't able to race this weekend. Something weird happened, but I'm ready for Texas World. I really liked the racing and I hope to come back next year at South-Boston and be in the action. That was some great short track racing.

18th don't know why I got black flagged for on that restart. Jenkins is on fire with a 9th place finish

Dodd, 25th: "Wahoo!! We finally stayed out of trouble all race, kept our nose clean, and came out of here with a solid finish. We've been pretty solid when we have stayed out of trouble this year, around 20th-25th place, very proud of this #3 Ale81 Chevy team."

Griffin: "My first career top 5. Sucks what happened to Jeff [James] and Dom [Capps]. You hate to see teammates have bad finishes. But, I'll take a 5th place finish. We got some momentum going. We will win this season; I can almost guarantee it."

Kurtis: "We struggled throughout most of the race, we just caught a lucky break and took advantage of others' troubles and got a solid top 10."
Re: Round 12 of South Boston
Roush: The Hauler for the 42 didn't make it in time because Myatt decided "HEY LETS FIRE ROUSH 3 DAYS BEFORE THE RACE"
