Racers Digest: The Best Team Pairing In History...?
A long wondered question to any Sony Cup Series fan is "what is the best team pairing in SCS history?" It could be answered in many different ways as this is an opinion question. So, like always us here at Racers Digest came up with our own opinion and it is of course the following...
Season 17 was a great season in the Sony Cup Series. A great battle for the championship, some great commentary as always, and just good overall racing. But what does this have to do with the topic of this article? It holds the best team pairing in SCS history according to Racers Digest! That pairing is, S17 FUEL Brothers Racing!
FUEL Brothers Racing has always been a pretty good seasons. Like every team they have had their lower seasons but overall they're one of the best teams ever. In S17 they possibly had their best season ever, and had the best pairing of drivers ever. For starters, they had 3 drivers in S17. Those drivers being Jacob Hart in the #1, Kyle Collins in the #2, and Luke Martin in the #6. FBR's manufacture was Ford (if we got that right). And they were quick...
In S17 they finished with a total of 1,572 points, 3+ wins, who knows how many top 5s and top 10s, and 1 championship. But if that wasn't good enough, all three of FBR's drivers in S17 placed #1, #2, and #3 in points. The championship going to Jacob Hart who actually set a record and became the first SCS driver to win 2 consecutive championships in a row.
Surprisingly this pairing never returned in S18 or the 2015 season which sucked because they could've very well dominated the season another season or two in a row. In fact, neither three drivers have had a season like this since. In 2015 for example Luke Martin did the best, actually managing to get a win. Jacob Hart had a "eh" season. Kyle Collins dropped out of the season for good due to personal reasons back in Canada.
There wasn't much more info about S17 we could find. Hence why the total number of top 5s and top 10s aren't listed. Now, we aren't mistaken on this article as it's an opinion article. Nobody is wrong if it's a realistic assumption. So feel free to discuss your opinions with us.

S7 Coorweiser
All 4 drivers made it to the final 5. Michael White came 3rd in the championship in his #43 to break that up. McBlair just a suggestion for you. Go back and watch Seasons 1-15. Just because I get the idea that you have only seen recent seasons.

But that's a lot of hours of racing videos and I can't find that extra time a lot of the time. I mean, I finished season one. That's it...
