Tauger to retire at the end of the 2017 season if he can find a ride
Treck Tauger, the oldest driver on the grid at 49 years old, is looking for a ride for the 2017 season. Due to his old age, he decided to hang his helmet up at the end of the season. Because of this, he is in talks with BFM in having his protégé, Milton Campbell of the Faroe Islands to run the team's Hardee;s National Series program.

Roush: I wish Tauger a great farewell season and if Campbell can't get into BFM then I would be more than glad to hire him for my team, Roush Family Racing

NO MORE PART TIME RIDES. Unless wanting to enter for just the DAYTONA 500, Indy 250, or Season finale for 2017 I do not want to see another part time entry. We have enough cars on the grid, I'm tempted to take away the Redbull, ARROW, CM Racing, Hood, and Mace part time cars because those aren't necessary but i'll let them slide. Seeing teams come to me asking for part time rides more and more keep asking because more and more part time rides keep appearing and I want that to stop its more of a hassle on me with part time cars plus we were hoping to limit the car counts for this year. If you guys can understand that, thank you.

OOC: If it's easier for you Noah and you would prefer to make my part-time car full time, I would be willing to do so.

Bradley Bishop Jr looks to return to Martin Motorsports for 2017 but if they don't want him back he'll officially be a FA.

Minor sponsor update: the #16 Ford of Carson Scott will carry Exide Batteries and Sunny D as primary sponsors. Plus Martin did want Kraft but I forgot to add it in originally.

Blue Flare Motorsports looks to sign Sean Perkins back to the #41. No word yet on the #81. The sponsors of the #41 will be Starbucks and Burger King again, along with a possible 3rd sponsor. The #81 sponsors will be released later on in the week.

Kyle Collins is currently a FA. He is looking to redeem his career by trying to go to a top tier team. But whereas his seasons have been pathetic for the past while, he will take a smaller team. Two teams currently have interest in Collins, one being RSR who wants to resign him. (If I recall correctly Pericles does want me back, correct me if I'm wrong Nick).

But Fisher, if I were you I wouldn't go to 3 cars. You can of course, but the thing is your team hasn't had the best stats and a 3rd car would just add some financial troubles since not-so-good stats+an extra car doesn't equal good finances and good stats.
I honestly expected you to drop the #22 and go one car to try and improve that way since I see Jordan being better then Malik. I'm just trying not to be helpful, don't mind me, if you want 3 cars go ahead.

When will the HNS silly season come out?

Scott Roush has one offer but I think Collins may have the job anyhow, so still looking for rides for precautions, any offer (except Myatt's team) is a good offer

Red Stallion Racing Showing Extreme Interest In Scott Roush & Kyle Collins

The Team hasn't had the best of luck this season and Collins has been having major troubles, It is Unclear If RSR Will Offer Either one a Contract but Rumors have it that it is down to them two.

Roush: If you would like for next season, I could race in HNS so you could keep Collins because I know how much this opportunity probably means to him, I wasn't wanting to jump into SCS so soon, so if you want put me in HNS since I need a team at all

Jon Bunnell's SCS Schedule released

Kentucky driver Jon Bunnell has announced his small load of SCS races. He will run the Daytona 500, Indy 250 (birthday race), Finale, and the Darlington races.

Update on Tauger's 2017 plans:
Tauger: "If I am unable to race for Red Bull, I would be happy to return to BFM for 2017."

Myatt had intentions of looking at Roush prior to comments.

Arrow Dynamic's team principal Kenny Myatt, revealed that he had intentions of giving Scott Roush a contract offer once Silly Season began. However, recent comments from Roush about the seriousness of the team has made Myatt reconsider.

"Anybody who is as classless and as stupid as he is doesn't deserve a ride in this series. We were going to actively pursue Roush to be a driver on our team. However I have thrown that out the door because he pretty much just took a giant dump on us prior to signing."
