NEWS: In this series, we have two drivers who like to be called Bronchitis and Tuberculosis. Starting this race weekend, the race results will be announced using their full legal names: Jakob and Christian. This will, in no way, affect the roster for the CTRS or the way that CTRS races are commentated.

Deb Bunnell, after a season of trouble since her last win here at Sonoma, goes 2-for-2 on career start-to-win ratio at Sonoma.

The highlight of the race was a lap 12 crash. Nathan Hood, slow after leaving the pits, exits pit road unsafely and wrecks Aidan Shepherd. After the incident, Shepherd tried to get back going, but Hannah Kendall came down into Luca Icks, causing Aidan to be boxed into a big one.
Another big incident happened a couple cautions later, when brothers Eli and Jeff Bright battled side-by-side for 29th, causing Eli to be passed, then he got retaliation on Jeff by putting him into the barrels in the esses. Eli went on to finish 2nd, while Jeff was out of the race in 37th.
