Johann grew up in racing. His dad Johannes followed racing for years and getting jobs on teams. Johannes may not have had the chance to race competitively, but he knew that his son, Johann would. So, from an early age, Johann was racing. At the age of four, Johann was given a Go-Kart and set his career into motion. He was natural. He could maneuver the car like it was nothing. When he was finally old enough to make it into a series, he became the star. He won multiple events. In 2011, he made it to a much more competitive series. It took him a while to get his footing, but in 2013 and 204, he won back-to-back championships. He also then decided that he would like to race touring cars, and that's what he did for the next two years. At around that time, a distant American Uncle, John Arndt, had spotted the young Johann. He contacted him and after a bit of talking became his driver coach and occasional spotter. He ran pretty decently there obtaining a few wins and coming oh so close to the championship, twice. It was in 2015 when he was spotted by an owner in the PWCOM and was picked to drive for them in 2016. After a slow start, Arndt started to get his footing. When Arndt came home for the German Round, he was on fire by winning the pole and winning the race overall. Arndt goes in 2017 with a new team and is excited to see how everything goes.
