There will no longer be Green-White-Checkered's

We have done a few green white checkered attempts ever since putting the rule in place last year however we want to focus on just the scheduled distance and not have to worry about how the field is going to line up or who's eligible for the GWC. We apologize to the race fans who liked how we gave multiple attempts of a green flag finish however we are aware things can get real messy if the race has multiple wrecks in attempts to get the race finished. We wanted to change this rule from here on out, starting here at Talladega knowing how the racing can get with the packs fighting for every inch.
