Rumors are that Volkswagen Autosport wants to open up a single-car shop in the Slim Jim Series.

Team Thunder Rebranded as Maverick GP, Boost Autosports To Be Sister Team

Team Thunder is confirmed that they will be rebranded as Maverick GP. With DJ Kurtis promoting to full-time and Matt Duncan (as split car driver) returning to the series, the team is making a huge step for Season 5. This change will occur at season's end.

Boost Autosports will be in the Slim Jim Series full-time. They are going to be Maverick GP's sister team. Boost Autosports has not confirmed any drivers.

Zachary Fitzwater to Red Bull

A major signing by a very ballsy team--Red Bull Racing. They have signed Zachary Fitzwater after Chica Louviere confirming to The Wrecking Balls. Red Bull Racing, under Mark Cuban, is looking for a road course driver, and they found Fitzwater to be that guy.

FPM To Join Grid?

The Ford Juggernaut has sights for Slim Jim's. Gods know why they want to join, but seeming as they want to join with a two car affair, they seem content going all in for a full-time schedule. Who the hell knows why they want to, but they want to.

Infinity Motors Announces Changes, PJ Williams To Be Cut At Season's End

Infinity Motors announced driver cuts and other major changes. Former Slim Jim Series champion PJ Williams and Henrietta Fitzwater will be cut at season's end. PJ Williams is a huge shock to everyone in the garage. Infinity Motors are not having the best season. None of the drivers are in the top 20 for standings. Their split car sits near bottom of the standings. The team thinks there is no point to do split car so they will sport two cars next season.

The lineup for next season will have Ghettson Moore in the 29 and Devid Valzac in the 31.

William Brock is looking to stay at Pontiac Motorsports, next season.

Puerto rican Sofia Kyla will attempt to make a start for any team once sign ups are officiated
21 year old Puerto Rico native, Sofia Kyla looks to join the Slim Jim series with any team. Known for her aggressive nature, Sofia Kyla is one to watch.

One thing Kyla is particular about is the pronunciation of her first name. Usually, the name 'Sophia' or 'Sofia' has a soft 'ph' sound. In her case, it still does, but she pronounces it any way but soft. What would be "So-Fee-Ah" is mushed together and said as if it were one syllable. Instead of "So-Fee-Ah," it is "Sofia" or "Sah-fia," but with an "oh" sound.

If you do not want a whirling fireball of fury coming towards you, "Sofia" is the way to go.

20 year old Oklahoma native, Tyson McLean looks to start a career in Slim Jim
Tyson McLean, who is originally from Oklahoma looks to start a career here in Slim Jim. All he needs is a ride.

He is a country boy. He loves hunting and fishing, rock climbing and has a burning passion for short tracking and has made a small fortune off of short track excursions that started when he was at the age of 14. McLean has a calm demeanor, and a good temper...until you break it. Best watch out.... McLean believes in karma...take that as you will.

Boost Autosport Reveals Lineup

Recently, Maverick GP owner William Duncan announced that amidst the rebranding, Boost Autosport would also be joining the Slim Jim Series. It has been revealed that the team bought out the cars of another team, although the team that sold them has not been disclosed.

Earlier today, the team owner Dean Phillips officially announced his driver lineup. Their status as a Maverick GP satellite team became immediately apparent, as current Maverick driver Greg Marshall will be joining them for the full season in car #28. Phillips said this was a deal to give Marshall a chance to develop more from getting to run all the races.

The second driver was announced to be Cale Burnfardt Jr, who will be behind the wheel of the #38. Burnfardt has had a pair of solid seasons driving for Nexxus Motorsports, and was given the offer to drive for Boost, which he accepted.

Finally, Phillips announced he intended to run a third car, numbered #98. This car will be driven by veteran short tracker and current RJ Manson driver Luke Trigger. Trigger has had some controversy in the past, but his abilities are very much real, and Phillips said that Trigger's experience would be of great help to the team.

Jill Richards to S3 Next Season

Jill Richards is going to the S3 Motorsports. Owner Charles Sandfer announces to bring Richards, the 1 in 70 champion, to drive the 88, replacing Daniel Smith. Jill Richards sets her stock high, and she is able to sell. It is also confirmed that Dillon Young and Henry Sandfer will stay in the team. Jake Baskinger is the only question mark for S3 Motorsports.

Daniel Bouchard announces Interest in Slim Jim Series for Season 5
The Canadian is looking to be interested in an SJS ride for Season 5. It is unknown if he will be getting a S5 ride or not.

Dogecoin & Princess To Race In Season 5

A team has confirmed to race full-time in Season 5: Dogecoin Racing Team. Dogecoin Racing Team is well known for their technology that is supposedly to be better than everyone else. However, their technology is not to their standards yet. Their performance will be better than their two 1 in 70 performances; they are hoping to compete against low-tier teams and to score low-end points.

They also confirm their one-river lineup. The driver for the 94 is going to be Princess Percle. Princess Percle has been a true representative for Dogecoin since the beginning. Princess then ran for the Baby Tribe 5000 for the second half of last season and this season before she gets cut. She is known to cause problems with the field and often get penalties and even suspensions. Everyone is now horrified as she is returning to Slim Jim in Season 5.

Super GT Team Joins Slim Jim Series With Subaru

Just a day after the recent race in Arkansas and the announcement of Dogecoin Racing Team joining the Slim Jim Series, another team has announced their intention to compete.

The team is Okumura Motors, a team known for their endeavors in the Super GT racing series. Okumura Motors has already dipped their feet into the series, with the Japanese operation testing out a Slim Jim-Spec Subaru Impreza under the guise of Subaru Racing Team at the 1 in 70. After their results, team owner Kunikazu Okumura said he was pleased with the test, and would open up a full-time operation to expand the team's horizons.

Their driver lineup is all Japanese, and very promising. The first car, numbered #86, will have Junior series star Kazuki Takamoto joining the series. Takamoto is coming off his best season ever in the Junior series, finishing 4th in the championship with two wins. The 23 year old was ecstatic to be making the jump to a higher tier with a local based team.

The second car, numbered #87, will see Nasu Tsunemochi at the helm. Tsunemochi already has two Slim Jim seasons under his belt, and won Rookie of the Year in Season 3. His sophomore season has been a disaster, with underwhelming performances and a rather embarrassing Junior campaign to boot. He was recently released from Manson, and was looking for a team. Luckily, the 20 year old found it at Okumura, and is excited to be working with a team from his home country, hoping it'll be what he needs to get out of his sophomore slump and have a strong Season 5.

BREAKING NEWS: Will Lewis Cancels Retirement, To Drive for Maverick GP in Season 5

In the aftermath of the Round of Indianapolis, Lewis was approached by former Slim Jims Series Champion and owner of Team Thunder (re-branded to Maverick GP), William Duncan. Fully aware of Lewis' upcoming retirement, Duncan had influenced Lewis to run another year with Maverick GP. Lewis had put it to thought for a bit, and eventually accepted. Lewis will pilot the #99 coming into Season 5.

Finguy: "Porsche needs to get their [Explicit] together... Or I'm going elsewhere."

Jeffery Finguy, driver of the 92 for Porsche last season. Was a bit critical with the team as of late after some results, didn't go his way this season. Even though he and the team scored a win(as his car came into the pits). Finguy was not happy after Will Lewis first retired, than up and left for Maverick GP.

"Porsche needs to get their [Explicit] together. And for one, I think they need to know something isn't right when they first went 1, 2, 3 at the season opener, than begin to lose their grip on the damn cars, hell I won a race, yet I won in the pits. That's embarrassing as hell. They need equipment for every race. Not one and go [Explicit] off for 24 races. They need to get their heads out of their behinds, or I'm going elsewhere. I'm almost done with them."

Season 5 Car Will Have New Models

With teams confirming their signings, the Slim Jim Series got some big news.

The Slim Jim Series is going to get an upgrade their models. Chevy, Ford, and Dodge will unveil their new car models to the series. Chevy will make their second car model switch from Monte Carlo to the Impalas. Ford was using their Fusions since the start; they will use the Mustangs. Like Ford, Dodge used the Charger and confirmed a switch to the Challenger.

Toyota is not switching different models but have an updated look on the Camary. Porsche remains the same. Subaru will feature the WRX STI. Dogecoin Racing Team, the only team with a custom car, will use the Doge v2.
