Amazon Pro Series: Round 1 @ Daytona
Round 1 @ Daytona
In Round 1, we saw plenty of action throughout the 75 miles, but it was ______ coming out on top. A Lap 11 wreck and pit stops changed the course of the race significantly, and it led to ___ going to Victory Lane. Driver comments on the race are to be left in the posts below.

Re: Amazon Pro Series: Round 1 @ Daytona
Pace Family Racing has a decent day at Daytona for the Amazon Pro Series' kick-off season
38 year old Steve Pace, driving the #2 Camping World Ford Fusion came to Daytona with his three team-mates, the #17 Arby's Ford of Jeffery Finguy, the #46 Country-Time Ford of Adam Vincent, and the #86 Fed-Ex Ford of Darryl Watts to help him out in his and his team's first start in any form of large series.
Of the four, Steve Pace would drive his #2 car home to a thirteenth place finish after being shuffled back with a few laps to go. Similar situations would also happen to Darryl Watts, who was running very well all race long.
Jeffery Finguy and Adam Vincent didn't have the days they wanted, but they did not ruin any vehicles.
Steve Pace, post-race stated his thoughts in an interview -"I am very happy with how I, and my team drove in the inaugural race of attrition in the Amazon Pro Series. We were in the fight it seemed to the very finish where I, and likewise, Watts were shuffled back. Thirteenth and nineteenth respectively. Even though all my guys didn't have a day they wanted, I'm still very happy with their performances. They weren't slow, they did not wreck my costly machinery, and most of all, they did not complain about it on the radio for finishing unlike their thoughts and dreams wanted them to."
"I'm entrusting all of us, and the pit crews to take care of my vehicles and my drivers, as well as the drivers themselves, and I couldn't be more happy at where we are sitting now - Hopefully, next race will be a turn for the better for our whole team. Maybe we can handle a win, or maybe a top five. We'll have to see. I have faith in my guys that they can do such things. Good luck to the lot of you all, and to my guys, stay fresh and you're impressing me."
Levins: "15th isn't bad. It isn't great, but not bad. I can do better."
