Round 9 of Pocono
We return to the unique 3 turn race track in Pennsylvania! The only race the SCS has ever ran here before was back in 2016 where Eugene Demax dominated but it ended up being a battle between D.J. Kurtis and Matthew Rodriguez for the win with Kurtis coming out on top! Does this mean Kurtis has the advantage returning to Pocono and has a chance to win back to back weekends? We'll find out tomorrow evening...

Dodd, 3rd: "Very few words can describe how I feel right now after this race... To go from 31st to 3rd, to have one of the fastest cars all day... There is not a whole lot more I can say besides that I am so grateful to Martin Motorsports, to this #15 Oreo's crew, to Ford, and to everyone who has believed in me through this process if going from a driver/owner of a small locally-operated team, to driving for quite possibly the biggest name in the series.
I feel like this is the first race where I truly felt like I belonged in this #15. I know I finished Top 5 at Atlanta, but that was more on strategy and "luck" rather then performance. I feel that here at Pocono was my first real statement, that I'm here, and that I belong. I know that there will continue to be ups and downs throughout this season, but I an ready to face them, and I am excited to continue to work as hard as I can, everyday, to make the goals we set forth as a team a reality."

Nothing to complain about 8th, given there were no cautions to bunch everyone up again. Proud to keep that top-10 streak alive still!

D. Kurtis: "Happy that we got a good points day today, a win would've been nice, but the #99 outstrategized us at the end. Good on them!"
J. Kurtis: "Cars were mediocre, but we'll work on it."
