Re: 2019 Silly Season
Gardner Racing announcement: Unfortunately due to a struggling season to try and make races this past season and it’s safe to say that Gardner Racing will be shutting down operations until the correct time comes. Well what does that mean for the owner Jonny Gardner you ask? Well he’s currently looking at potential offers if one happens to come his way. However he’s looking to find a home in really decent equipment. If anyone would like to offer me a deal let me know.

Re: 2019 Silly Season
Martin Motorsports has made a huge announcement that they will be switching manufacturers for 2019. Martin Motorsports will be driving Toyota's for next season. Martin Motorsports has been the leading Ford team in the season winning 8 races of the 17 races so far so this one comes as a shock to all in Silly Season.
Re: 2019 Silly Season
Rodriguez Racing also has announced that they will be also be switching to Toyota for the 2019 Season.
Re: 2019 Silly Season
Chris Dodd has announced that he does not plan on returning to Martin Motorsports for 2019.

Re: 2019 Silly Season
Rumors are circulating in the garage area here in Chicago regarding Silly Season news headlines. Some media personnel are saying there is rumors going around in the garage that YAMP Motorsports and HorizonGroup may be at a cross road at the end of 2018. Many are saying that both teams may close shop at seasons end and not return for the 2019 Season.

FPM Makes the 07 Full-Time, Heist of the Century?
After the race of Chicago, FPM heads confirmed the 07 will go full-time next season. But since the current driver of the 07, James Shelly is in the 26 for next season. People became speculative about just who will be in the car. It just so happens if you look at the current points standings, that driver is just right behind Jeffery Finguy. Steven Jenkins will pilot the 07 for next season. This, has send the press in a loop. FPM will have a trio of unpredictability. And it looks like the team is ready for the task at hand.

Re: 2019 Silly Season
Turner-Hero alliance to be formed starting in 2019
Going into the 2019 season, Hero Motorsports made their announcement of their oncoming manufacturer switch from Toyota to Ford. Seeing this as an opportunity to help team owner and fellow friend Jake Baskinger get accustomed to this change, TPR owner/driver Jesse Turner eventually decided that this would be a good move that could pay big dividends in the long run.
He comments, "Jake and I have just been very chill and cohesive together over the last few seasons, before TPR was even formed. A few things had to be shaken up on others ends for this to work, but I'm glad everything fell into place and our teams can be a little power combo. Eager to help Hero become adjusted to these Ford race cars, and it'll soon be fun battling each other out there on a more frequent basis."
Btw, post #400!!!

Jordan Davis on going to YAMP Motorsports
"I had a good run going at Mace. It's really helped me relaunch my career, but I believe it is time to move forward and go our separate ways. I thank Mace for all he's done for me, but it's time to move on." Jordan Davis will take on a new ride for 2019 at YAMP Motorsports. Little is known about their 2019 plans. Other parts of the news including that his 2018 Crew Chief Ron Evans will follow him to YAMP Motorsports. The pair teaming up in 2018 that led to two victories from the pole. It shall be interesting to see how the pair will do at YAMP Motorsports especially with Dajon recently coming on the win at Indy.

Roush Family Racing will run a FULL TIME Cup operation after a few weeks of deliberating and thinking about it, they are thinking about putting Paul Jackson in for a race or 2 at Daytona and Talladega, after that it's all uncertain, but they want Will Lewis in the car for the races Paul Jackson and other drivers don't run. They will be doing more than one race though.

Jonny Gardner to Red Stallion Racing?
Huge Announcement! Jonny Gardner has confirmed to be piloting the Red Stallion Racing car for 2019 right now the number looks to be the same as the #32 however new sponsors will follow the #32 we’re looking to have Dollar General aboard and also SUNY Delhi (Jonny’s school colors) also there is a possibility of adding Discount Tire on to the #32. All I have to say is this is an absolute amazement to me, this past season was a struggling season but with the faith that Nick has behind me to re energize the RSR camp we will be sure to try and make Daytona for 2019!

Red Stallion Racing Confirms Contract With Gardner
After what is looking like a pretty decent season so far for Red Stallion. The team has found building interest in Jonny Gardner. Although he hasn't been upsurging, Gardner has experience and could help the RSR SCS program. Miller Lite is Confirmed for the #32 Toyota at the moment. Gardner and the team are trying to get a contract with Discount Tire. Suny Delhi is a possibility along with Dollar General.

Re: 2019 Silly Season
Kurtis Racing has announced that Dylan Schwallenberg will have the sponsors of Bandit Chippers, DC Solar, Arctic Cat and SP Tools as sponsors for the #8 for 2019. Traxxas has also pounced into the #8 as a sponsor.
The #4 will have Bass Pro Shops, Boost Mobile, Mobil 1, and Office Depot as sponsors for Kurtis Racing in 2019. The driver has yet to be announced.
A lot of the Athenian sponsors will be associates for 2019 (Menards, Sherwin Williams, PTC). The associates for KR are going to be pretty consistent like 2018.
