If it were NASCAR I'd say do that. But with IndyCar's i'd say no to that! It was a good race. I have no idea why people were bashing the race!

That was a horrible ending to a great race. Of course they wouldn't throw the caution with 6 to go. Dixon was in the lead that is why.

Absolutely. That piece of wing was on the front stretch for so long, I too felt like they wouldn't throw the yellow out right away.MrKyleBusch1 wrote:That was a horrible ending to a great race. Of course they wouldn't throw the caution with 6 to go. Dixon was in the lead that is why.

I don't think they would have made it under caution anyway! I think they were trying to squeeze out the event without a yellow and realized they couldn't. So I do not blame them for trying.

The racing at Phoenix was lit.

Scary incident in the pit lane at Pocono. Rossi landed on Castroneves head after contact with Kimball. Luckily, and amazingly, Castroneves appears fine.

How'd everyone like the Watkins Glen grand prix? I sure know I loved it, getting to see it in person

Will Power has a concussion... Sad to say, Pag is your champion. But it's strange to hear that he had one. But his wreck at the Glen kinda resulted in that so I say I hope someone wins other than Pag this season.

If he was, I'd be worried if he gets in another wreck. I mean, with two more rounds left, it might not be likely. But yet concussions stay, if Power 'reawakes' this like Jr., it could be another look in it with Concussions and Motorsports in general.

I wish there were two rounds left.
I actually like the stance Motorsports is beginning to take on concussions. It was a long time coming, and it probably should have happened years ago. My hope is that different factions of motorsport (NASCAR would be the perfect candidate) institute concussion protocols similar to the NFL. I would also like different series to have their own concussion rehabilitation programs, similar to how NFL teams have.

True. I would see something like this in sports with concussions are a thing to worry of. Motorsports now as of late being close to the NFL I can think of like so. It would be nice to see something like this in not just one but all motorsports. Anyways, it would be nice but yet, cases like Jr's and Powers'. It might make both NASCAR and Indycar think about this, they want their drivers safe. And again, want them to compete in their respected leagues.

NASCAR isn't the only Motorsports series in the news today. Rumor has it that police were called to the IndyCar headquarters for a noise complaint.
Apparently IndyCar's reaction to the puny sponsorship contract that NASCAR apparently got!
