Draft Rules

Here Is how the draft is going to work

After the Tryouts, the 48 Drivers will be listed based on results, Wins, laps lead etc.

Then the Draft Order will be randomized (Except My team, which WILL be the last Team, in future seasons, the order will be decided on finishing results).

Now we will go down the order. Each team has 1 hour to and decide who they are picking. However the drivers have 1 decline. If a team drafts u that u do not want, you may use that "out". Then the team may not draft you and have to find someone else.

After the first round, The order will be re-ordered by the draft pick they have made. If a Person has selected the #1 Pick, they will be drafted last. This just lets other teams have access to the better picks.

This will continue 4 rounds until the drivers have been set.

After the Draft has finished, The 12 Teams will be randomized in the conferences and the Divisons and the Season can start.

This is gonna be good! Can't wait for the draft!

What happens if someone that is a team owner isn't on during the time of the draft.

We will have the draft on a day everyone agrees

Any day except Friday nights and/or Saturdays is good for me.

Any day that isn't Tuesday or Thursday.

Any time that isn't a Friday Night...

Are we going to allow trades?

If we can get everyone else online. I suggest making the draft go quicker... Because I am not staying up 48 straight hours waiting on teams to draft.

I think 10 minutes per round may be the best procedure...

If everyone is online, then it should be as fast as possible, with a max of 30 minutes per pick.

And how exactly would trades work in just a 4 round draft? There doesn't seem to be enough picks to really trade for.

Well, I think the idea would be, if you trade up, lets say up to get the driver you want, you sacrifice one of your cars. Therefore you might have a 3 car team, while another team may have 5. It's an idea if Shelly wants it. I can see it being either really good, or REALLY BAD!

Wouldn't that mess up the points system though?
