Clearing The Air About A Couple Of Things
Oh boy.
To give a more detail explanation on why I haven't been active on forums like these anymore, here's a more in depth explanation.
About 11 months ago, I made the decision to basically quit all ARCSOA related forums and pull my series (DWSR) out of the ARCSOA canon fold. There were many reasons to this decision, but the way I did it was kind of premature and I think left people with a lot more questions than I intended. The first reason, was because at the time, I was going through some rough patches with my life where I was very unhappy. I was unhappy with how things in my personal life were going, and I was unhappy with the state of my own series. The second reason, was that I didn't enjoy being around some of the forum drama I would often see, with people constantly bickering or just being childish in some manner. The third reason was because I grew tired of being around some people, Kenny (F1fan) for example. I've had disagreements with Kenny before and for the later parts of my run in the canon, viewed him in an over negative light that kind of made me irritated than it should have. I also felt that he didn't respect my place, as he took no interest in my series, which kind of made me feel like my series had an empty void. Think of it this way, when your "boss" at your job ignores you and your contributions, typically you'd feel kind of empty and wonder whether or not you like your job. That's how the last half of my time in ARCSOA felt like. I just didn't enjoy working with him anymore.
This resulted in me cutting off all contact with him to a certain degree and moving on. The way I handled things were a bit immature on my end and I'll admit it, but I couldn't stand being constantly around him like I did with the canon. Here's how I work as a person. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. If I don't enjoy being around someone, then I'll do my best to tolerate being around that person when needed, but will try to avoid. I have high toleration levels when it comes to people, but there is some exceptions and Kenny was one of them unfortunately.
Lastly, when I quit, I did inform Kenny of it in the most respectful way I could. I gave the reasons I just listed above as to why I was leaving and I moved on to focus on my own series and I'm in a much happier place now because of it. After that, I have had minimal contact with him. Now, I just want to clarify that any transgressions I felt towards Kenny are gone, and I don't dislike him anymore. I don't want people to view Kenny in a different light because of this, mainly because my problems with him aren't yours and that if you enjoy being a part of ARCSOA, all power to you and I hope you enjoy your time there. I don't like talking negatively about people, I really don't, which is why I don't go prancing everywhere going "I HOPE KENNY CHOKES ON A SAUSAGE" like some people I know probably would. However, I've been told that Kenny has apparently "shit" on me on various occasions and has labelled me as an idiot in private chats, so whether or not this will change that thought, I guess remains to be seen. I hope he doesn't view this as an attack, because it's not.
So right now my main involvement will be SCS related only.
Hopefully that clears things up a bit, if you have any questions, send a PM and I'll answer....probably.

Re: Clearing The Air About A Couple Of Things
Wasn't around when that happened, but I thank you for sharing this. I have become ingrained in a lot of NR2003 series over the last 6-8 months, and while there have been some really annoying and aggravating times, I am glad to say that overall it has been a fun experience for me.
Again, thank you for sharing.
