Griffin and wife celebrate birth of first child

{OOC: Yep, since my guy is retiring next season. It's about time he have a family right?}

Well, the round of Quebec wasn't exactly kind to Ryan Griffin. Despite his background in both short track racing and dirt racing, Griffin finished 35th in the round of Quebec.

But, there was a silver lining to the race weekend for the 36 year old Michigan native. Just 12 hours after the round of Quebec ended, Griffin and his wife Allison welcomed the birth of their first child, a daughter the couple have named Genevieve "Genna" Jessica Griffin.

Griffin shared the first photo of the trio on his twitter page.

Both mother and child are doing wonderful.
