Re: DDS Round 4: Antevia Kingrey Motorsports Park- Racin' for Andy 300
Cresto leads with a good start and the Racin' for Andy 300 is green!
Lap 1: Ren Fukuda gets a better start and passes Cresto on lap 1.
Lap 3: Shepherd by Fukuda and has already gapped him for the lead.
Lap 10: Fukuda has gotten back to the inside, but with Shepherd having the outside draft they haven;t yet been able to clear until Turn 3 of this lap. Duncan up to second, Fukuda's teammate.
Lap 17: Duncan clears Fukuda but Fukuda crosses him under the next lap and takes it right back a couple laps later. Wallace to second, Montgomery to third.
Lap 19: Wallace is working with Duncan low, Fukuda has Montgomery high in the fight for the lead. Wallace takes it after John Jacobs joins them.
Lap 47: Not much has happened so far. New leader is Hierra as pit stops begin.
Lap 50: Caution is out. Atilio Munari wasn't paying attention exiting the pits and turned Scott Parsons into the outside wall. That was a hard driver side impact for Scott, hope he is OK after that hit from Cody Goforth. Mackenzie Johnson also involved.
Lap 50: It seems like more people are doin' it for Andy rather than racing for the poor racer out of Florida. Paul Jackson also had a similar incident exiting the pits with Robbie Johnson and rammed Goforth. Top 10 are the only cars on the lead lap, they are 99, 7, 16, 43, 18, 17, 11, 6, 38, 34. Bouchard got the wave around as did Nawasaki and a few others.
Lap 57: Ferreya to the lead, still waiting for a report on Parsons's wellness.
Lap 58: Caution is out. Kaz Makella pushed Bouchard up into Leigh Lagasse in Turn 3. Bouchard will fall out of the race, 10 cars will get their laps back (58, 2, 20, 98, 19, 5, 33, 97, 47, 8 ). Top 10 after caution pit stops: 58, 2, 6, 16, 18, 43, 99, 38, 7, 17.
Lap 62: Austin James to the lead.
Lap 65: Caution is back out. There is rain on the way, and the urgency can be felt. Laperta and Mike Alladore went into the wall and Alladore took a wild flip. James in the lead.
Lap 70: Bubba Martin pulls away on the restart.
Lap 73: They nearly wrecked again, nice save by Nawasaki.
Lap 82: Matt Preston to the lead, Yarbough who has had a terrible start to the season is up to second, there are a ton of lapped cars interfering, especially Webber and Robbie Johnson.
Lap 93: Yarbough to the lead, but of course Webber has to get involved in the battle too. You are a lap down, Webber.
Lap 102: Yarbough loses the lead to Harrison Lankford, the 8 of Steven Wallace and Aidan Shepherd take Yarbough 3 wide for second as they approach Alladore, Shepherd takes it with Austin James in third.
Lap 108: Shepherd to the lead as he works together with James who is on newer tires (note pit stops have begun for the drivers who took the wave around under the lap 58 caution.)
Lap 113: FlameSport goes 1-2.
Lap 117: Top 10 after pit stops: 11, 8, 47, 18, 97, 16, 98, 17, 7, 99.
Lap 131: Yarbough up to second, 20 to go. Looks to be a great finish coming.
Lap 150: Off Turn 4, Matt Preston holds off all advances by Yarbough and wins at AKMP!
