Josh Crash steals the pole at The Rock
For the second week in a row the Sony Pole Award was won by a Rookie Of The Year Contender. However, winning the pole at Rockingham is a very demanding task. Finding a rhythm at the North Carolina Speedway to lay down a fast lap takes a lot of focus and hitting your marks just right. Finguy-Psytomi Motorsports hit on the setup right for Josh Crash as right from the get go he took to the top in leader boards and stayed there to eclipse the pole and qualify himself eligible for the Sony Shootout in 2019.
Josh Crash has experience of racing at Rockingham in the National Series when he finished in the Top 15 in both races last year. Crash is looking to show all the critics that his lap wasn't a fluke and can be a contender on Sunday.
