Field Is Set And Ready For Round 1
The first ever season of the Hardee's National Series is set to go underway. The schedule is not even prepared full yet. It is said the schedule will be fully prepared after Round 2 for sure. We have our 42 teams set and ready to kick start the first season of our little league so to speak with the National Series. Sony and Hardee's have came together to keep things close quarters to the respective Cup series. It has been put out there from the SCS and HNS that this brand new series has been made for the respect of making a lower series for rookies looking to make their way up the ranks and old cup veterans looking to find a way back to victory lane and get back to their old form.
The Rookie line up to our racing world inside the Hardee's and Sony Series consist of names like Ryan Byzantium, Carson Scott, Carlie McDowell, Waide Brummer, and a whole lot more. Names who have failed to get a big break of a big Cup ride. With no lower series to show their worth for, no Cup teams wanted to risk the chance on a rookie and has stick to their old veterans instead. This series will give them the shot to prove their worth to Cup teams.
Veteran drivers looking to gain their glory back who have lost a bit of their fame from the Cup side contains names like Shaun Gallighan, Steven Jenkins and Jeffery Lynn to name a few are running full time in this National Series in 2016 in hopes of returning to Victory Lane and possibly grabbing a championship returning back to the glory they once had.
Some drivers like Alan Cavagnaro, Nick Pericles, Vincent Allen, Dom Caps, Cody Llamas, Nick Mace, Noah Hart, Jacob Hart, Zebulun Stark, Matthew Rodriguez and others will run part time in this series looking to just do one thing and one thing only...WIN. Drivers like Cavagnaro and Pericles who have struggled on the Cup side will be seizing every chance they get in this series to show they can in fact win.
Some drivers who did get lucky and get into a Cup ride but managed to get a mediocre ride for the Cup series will also be in this, fitting in as almost like a rookie but in relatively equal cars, they will be competitive also trying to show their worth. Dajon Weeks, William Brock, Sean Harple, David Culpepper, Ricky Johnson, Colby Jackson, Emma White are just a few who haven't shown much in the Cup series over the last 2 Cup seasons who are running full time in the HNS.
They're are so many new faces looking to make a name for themselves, and it all starts at DAYTONA! Lets go racin'!
Savannah Returns As Well! HNS will make it's 2nd start of the season there right after Daytona!
Schedule to be released soon after...

OOC: Hmm, OK, well that's gonna be interesting... I needed to talk to "Scott" about who was gonna drive each race, but because the schedule won't be released till after round 2, I'll let Scott Roush drive at Daytona, and I'll(Chris Dodd) will drive at Savannah.

OOC: Thank you Chris! Daytona means a whole lot more to me because I made the trip with my dad there once a year when I was a child!CJ Racing wrote:OOC: Hmm, OK, well that's gonna be interesting... Carson's starting 15th and Dajon's starting 29th. Hope that they don't come home with bent sheet metal and instead end up with a win!
