How Do You Believe The SCS Should Lock In Drivers?
How Will We Set The Field In 2017?
I want to know this... we can only run 42 cars in a race for NR2003, that's kind of obvious. The field count will always be 42. If anyone is up for dropping the car count down to 40 like actual NASCAR let me know I will consider it.
However the main question I want to ask is if you think there should be Charters for 2017 or stick to the Top 35 Rule? Or None at all?

NOTE: I will not do qualifying videos for the "None" option. I will not do split up qualifying again and I will only do single car qualifying videos for the DAYTONA 500. If you guys pick the charters or top 35 I may or may not record the Go or Go Homers qualifying section only the main field part upping the qualifying time of 5 mins for the actual race qualifying up to 10mins.

Also for dropping the field size, I'm not really up to it. I know this series is based on the Sprint Cup. But maybe hold off on it. I mean, Xfinity did it first and well Sprint followed. I'm more in favor of having originality and not follow it. I say hold off on that idea.

I say don't ever drop field size. I also don't care for Charters.

Screw charters. And I'm not down for dropping the field size, 42 seems like it's fine for the SCS.
I like the top 35 owners points method because the drivers who've earned their way past 35th deserve to make the race automatically while the guys under that obviously aren't good enough and should have to work their way into the field. That's my opinion.

Can't stand the Charter system, and I like having the 42(max) car fields. Doesn't really matter to me whether there is a top 35 rule or not(I voted not simply because it gives me a better chance to make the races).

I am a fan of charters... because it ensures the best cars make the grid. A lot of times, a bunch of drivers are under threat of not racing because a bunch of no-name drivers in crappy cars make the race. I think it is time to set a charter system!

That reason you gave is flawed for many reasons, 1 more prominent is that those "no name crappy drivers" had to beat out the better teams. So they had to EARN it. You don't make the race for no reason whatsoever. Just trying to make a point, not trying to start something.f1fan wrote:I am a fan of charters... because it ensures the best cars make the grid.
