Round 32 of California
Wow. Pretty amazing we are this far into the season? Only 5 races remain in the 2016 year until we find out our champion and look towards 2017. California is going to be a good one, Baskinger being back. Collins will be in the #41 while Scott Roush HNS driver tries to make his first SCS start this coming weekend. The points are super close. Nobody is really safe coming into the round to try and advance into the Round of 8. It'll be an interesting one. To move on to the next round you will need a flawless day. No wrecks, a wreck could take you out of The Chase. The points are incredibly close it's anyones game.
Who will advance further in their hopes of being champion?
Our Go or Go Home list consist of
#41 Kyle Collins
#92 Jeffery Finguy
#31 Michael White
#06 Stephen Pollard III
#7 Max Titan
#32 Scott Roush
#62 James Shelly
#2 Jordan Fisher
#3 Matt Daleo
#0 Chris Dodd
#4 Dom Caps (No More PCPs To Use)
Cloud9 Racing and Swagger Motorsports have decided to close doors of their shop early and sell body parts to teams who will finish out the season in hopes of buying the new COT car for 2017. Cloud9 will return to run majority of the races in 2017 in hopes of possibly turning into a full-time team. Selling their cars in return at 3 new COT cars for 2017 for their 2 car program. Rumor is that Wake Motorsports and Titanium might do the same in order to build their Cup and HNS programs.
4 cars will fail to qualify for the Round of California. If Qualifying is rained out, the points will be set by Owner Points which would mean the bottom 4 on the list would go home.

Re: Round 32 of California
Collins: I want to say we have one of the best cars out of the come or go homers but it doesn't really matter because anything can happen in qualifying. Praying I can make the race so I can finally try and do something in decent equipment, no offense Mike Mart, for the first time since the beginning of 2015.

Roush: The Odds are in my favor to making the race! only 4 Go home, I just not have to be one of them.

Finguy: "There's only 3 races left so it's really going to cut it close... At least this time there will be breathing room... I got a win on this track, but that's old news. Let's finish this season out right."

Roush: I'm putting it all on the table though, if I make the race. Can't thank everyone at RSR enough. I'm going to be over there and helping for my car so it is literally "all hands on deck"

Re: Round 32 of California
Fans stage rally protest holding up giant #FreePerkins banner
It seems as if the days of Sean Perkins being the most hated driver by the fans are coming to an end. Fans entered the California Speedway in Fontana today carrying large banners saying, #FreePerkins while entering the track. Other fans wore shirts with Sean Perkins face on it. Another popular shirt was the one that said, Perkins/Hart for president in 2016.
Sony Cup Fan Bob Knight stated, "I was never a fan of Sean Perkins, but what he has done is proved that there is an injustice in this league. Perkins only insulted a problem with the league's transparency."
Another Sony Cup Series fan, Kevin Maren stated, "This SCS chase has been a complete disaster, and Perkins has been the only one to call them out on it. Granted we all don't really care for Perkins, but suspending him for speaking his mind is bullshit. The series has a vendetta against him, and a series shouldn't have that. I still think the majority of fans don't care for Perkins, but he should be allowed to be here."

But Daleo's in the 3, and Titan's in the 7. So who missed it technically?

Kurtis: "Looking to do better this time around, hopefully I can stay out of trouble as well as the whole CBM team this weekend. Let's get at least 1 win before it ends."

*Fists Pumps Everywhere, nearly in tears*...
Dodd: "*Sniff* I can't believe it... It's been so long.... I am so happy right now, there aren't words to describe just how thankful I am.... This #0 IKEA team has been working so hard, and it's been tough to miss race after race... We're gonna cherish this one for a little while, and then get ready for RaceDay! *An Explosion of Cheers Erupt from the #0 team!*

Fixed it. The #7 team surprisingly didn't qualify the best. With this being an impound race the team swung with a race trim setup hoping they'd still beat the little teams in qualifying but CBM's #7 got out beat by CM Racing's #0. Daleo was in the #3 and he also like Dodd went full blown Qualifying Trim to work hard on just making the race and they got 5th and 7th in their go or go home sessions. Dom Caps would of got in had he not used all his PCPs.

P32, not gonna cut it. Unfortunate to know that my team and I won't be repeat champs. But it doesn't mean we stop trying to get a win and spoil the party.

Re: Round 32 of California
Kurtis: "Decent day for today, just not the run we've looked for. Once I heard who was eliminated, I knew this system was flawed for a reason. I'm honestly laughing my butt off by the cons of this chase. Congrats to the winner, it's been long awaited."
Re: Round 32 of California
Dodd: "After all the misfortune of not making the last making almost any races the past couple of months, to be able to come back and run every lap, stay out of trouble all race long, and finish 26th... I am just so proud of my #0 IKEA team!"
