Season 1, Round 3: ICAR
Round 3: Round of ICAR @ Circuit ICAR
Simon Fairchild: "Hello everyone and welcome to Circuit ICAR, a 2.36 Mile Road Course located in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. This is the 2nd race in the Canadian part of the schedule, and one that will put the drivers to the test. With it being the 1st road course of the season, this race could set the stage for which teams will be the teams to beat going left AND right!
Here are some of the big questions as we get ready to go racing here in Canada!"
Is Flying Aces Racing's hot start for real?
While it is still too early to tell, Flying Aces Racing(FAR) sure looks to be for real this season. Audra Baranauskas is a former PWCOM Champion, and one of only 2 under the age of 30 that are still racing(Sebastian Maynard being the other). Rookie Takumi Hirano may be even more impressive though, being only one of 2 drivers with Top 5's in both races this season. FAR could very well be the team to beat this season, although ICAR will be a test to see how their road course performance will fair.
Can either SkyTech or Longfellow & Whitehouse(LWR) bounce back at ICAR?
It really has been a disappointing start of the season for both teams, however if you look, it seems like SkyTech is just having bad luck, while LWR is just overall missing something. While I expect both teams to have better runs here at ICAR, I expect that SkyTech will have a better overall performance... although that's what we thought at Vancouver, and it didn't quite turn out that way...
Was David Lublin's amazing Vancouver run for real, or was it just a one-time/short track deal?
David Lublin deserves some mad props for how he ran at Vancouver, and he should have won that race if it wasn't for a late race caution at the wrong time. However, Fitzwater Team Australia is one of the newest teams in PWCOM, and Lublin's teammate Murilo Sousa Cardoso has not nearly shown the level of speed as he has, so there are certainly questions about whether this run will last or not.

And just as a note to everyone, once Round 3 is up(+/-24-48 hours), Signups for the Irish Hills 400 will be open, so be ready!

Qualifying Results for ICAR
- Results:
- Notes:
- Arthur's Court: Löwenherz Flies to Pole Position, While Windhelm Motorworks Struggles
3 races in, and we already may have the Championship favorite... Arthur Löwenherz is on fire, getting his 1st pole of the season and clearly placing himself as the driver to beat this season. Could this finally be his season to shine?
On the other side of the field, Windhelm Motorworks has had a bit of a struggle to the start of their season, and it has continued here at ICAR, with neither car starting in the Top 20. They will need to find some race speed, and maybe a few breaks, for them to get a solid run here.

Vogel: We look to continue what we have been doing. We're surprising people, but we need to continue to show results.

Lucia: 2nd! "FINALLY the luck holds out today after these first couple of races. the winner was just the class of the field, and we know who we must beat to win this title."
Windhelm Motorworks:" Austin had a tire issue early and it just kept him in the back of the field. Stanton tried the best he could but the car just wasn't able to gain any round. We will go back to the drawing board and do our damnedest to get the team on track."
