After a career high finish in the championship standings, Blue Flare Motorsports finished inside the Top 20 in points for the first time ever in their career as a race team. Treck Tauger in 2015 previous finished 25th in points which was currently their best finish in points until owner/driver, Kyle Collins drove to a 17th place finish in the final points in the #41 Toyota. The team's owner points finished 19th overall making it the highest in points the team has finished a year out.

Kyle Collins looks to continue driving his car in 2018 and looking to better it's program again as they continue to search for their first career win. The team took the time to go back to a 3 car program for the 2018 season. Last time they went to a 3 car team none of the cars finished inside the Top 30 in points. The team is looking to carry the momentum as one of the leading Toyota teams in the series as it looks to 2018 for greater things with Bradley Bishop Jr. and Garrett Sydnor alongside as teammates for the organization looking for their first career wins.
