Griffin to attempt V8 Supercar event during Australian Tour in 2019

The list of different race vehicles Ryan Griffin has driven during his racing career will see another entry added following the SCS Australian Tour next season. Griffin, who will start his 3rd full season in the SCS next season, will attempt a V8 Supercar event during one of the events of the Australian Tour.

"I have to say that I'm surprised this came together as it did. It's been a dream of mine to get a chance to drive one of these types of cars and I can't wait to give it a shot next year. Zachary [Fitzwater] had a big hand in putting this together and he's the one who gave me the 'shove' to do this. After hearing what Eric [Demax] was doing and his result, I was like what the hell, why not?"

Griffin plans on testing a V8 Supercar during the SCS off-season to get himself prepared for his attempt.
