Round 20 of Indianapolis
Heading into the Round of Indianapolis, the goal of winning has never been as high since leaving Daytona as it has been coming into this race weekend. Teams have been preparing the perfect car for this weekend's on track activities for months now in preparation to try and win at one of the Sony Cup Series' most prestigious circuits. Indy serves as one of the Triple Crown races that teams and drivers circle as a "Must Win" at before leaving the series. The goal is simple, win this race or leave knowing you put it all on the line. No holding back. This is the Indy 250 and it's show time.

Re: Round 20 of Indianapolis
- Spoiler:
- GRIFFIN SCORES 2ND STRAIGHT RUNNER UP FINISH; MAKES FEELS CLEAR AFTER THE RACE[/b]
After congratulating Dajon Weeks on his first career SCS win, MM driver Ryan Griffin who ran 2nd to Weeks made this thoughts perfectly clear.
*WARNING FOR LANGUAGE*
Griffin: "First, I want to give credit where credit is do. Dajon [Weeks] had the best car at the right time and I just didn't have the run to get back by him. He earned this win and I tip my hat to him.
Now, the nice stuff is over. What the fuck is wrong with people?! I don't know what the fuck goes threw someone's head that is not racing for position with the lead group that decides 'hmm, I'm going to fuckin' block the leader like I'm battling for the lead on the last lap'. Charlie [Smith] needs more fuckin' mirrors or glasses cause he can't tell when the leaders come up on him. Scott [Roush] needs to fuckin' go back to HNS and learn how mirrors work as well. And God damn, my own teammate isn't immune to fuckin' idiocy. Matt's [Rodriguez] up there running us like he's on the lead lap. It caused me momentum I could've used to go after the 38. I'm just finished with it. I guess I'm going to start fuckin' racing people differently after today. Cause lord knows there are a couple who I've fuckin' had it with."
After 'going off', Griffin appeared to have a heated discussion with Rodriguez and Smith.

Re: Round 20 of Indianapolis
D. Kurtis: "We had good speed in qualifying, and our race pace was good. I took it rather nice and easy, but I got slammed into the wall by Matt Daleo. Absolutely disgusting from the #78. For a former teammate I would think he would know better, but him getting kicked out of multiple rides doesn't really help his case. We lost some valuable points out there today due to his actions, but at the end of the day, it's racing. I'm just disappointed in how the season has been as of recent, just things happen out of my control. I also want to apologize for the incident with Bobby Jones, that is 100% my fault and I'll take responsibility for it. Onto next week though, I think things will pan out much better there! I also want to give a quick shoutout to TJ Martin, he ran a phenomenal race! Kid's got a future for sure!"
J. Kurtis: "Our cars were alright throughout the race. Hernandez just got swept up in situations that he couldn't control, and Schwallenberg ran a clean race out there. Good on him! He may have not gotten a Rookie point, but a top 15 is good progress nonetheless!"

Re: Round 20 of Indianapolis
Bobby: Man, i was hoping we could finish in the top 20 in this race since we had a good qualifying run. But that wreck under caution kind of killed us. But it is great to finish 25th with a damaged car. it was a fight to keep from falling back. Hopefully we can do great at Iowa Speedway next week, i feel that Hero Motorsports has improved so far on the road courses and short tracks during the second half of this season.

Re: Round 20 of Indianapolis
Got 3rd place. What a fierce battle between the two sophomores directly in front of me. Hoping they would wear each other out and I could catch them but they both did a good job.
